Teton Wildfire Mitigation Team LLC (“TWMT”) provides limited services to Teton County, Wyoming landowners as part of becoming a Fire Adapted Community. These services intend to support landowners in wildfire risk reduction planning and project implementation. While the Wildfire Risk Overviews and Preparedness Plans aim to reduce the risk of fire damage to your home or property, following the recommendations in these reports does not guarantee the prevention of such damage. Wildfire mitigation work around your home can give firefighters the best chance to defend and protect your property from wildfires and can also substantially increase your safety and reduce the risk to life and property. However, wildfire is unpredictable and can be impossible to stop or control, regardless of what mitigation efforts you have taken. In no event shall TWMT or its supervisors, employees, or volunteers be liable for any personal injury (including death), property damage, or any other damage that may be incurred or suffered as a direct or indirect result of participation in the Wildfire Risk Overview. This disclaimer of liability applies whether such damages are special, indirect, consequential, or compensatory and whether they are based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Teton Wildfire Mitigation Team LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, statutory, or otherwise.
